Osteopaths in England are now able to see most people for face to face treatments.
On arrival, as we are still not treating patients who have symptoms of coronavirus, you will be asked some simple screening questions, have your temperature taken and will be offered the use of hand sanitizer.
In line with Public Health England and Government guidelines, we would still prefer you to wear a face covering when receiving osteopathic care, due to the close contact required.
Your osteopath will also be wearing a surgical mask and many of the heightened hygiene standards implemented during the pandemic still remain. These include sanitization of patient areas between each patient, the use of wipeable pillow covers, more frequent use of hand sanitization, increased ventilation and single use towels in the hand washing facilities.
